The problem

Your students need help after class,
and your teachers can't be everywhere.

Lessons get spent on the basics

Every lesson, a good chunk of time goes into answering the same basic questions for one student after another, so new content takes longer and revision gets pushed back.

Homework gets stuck at home

Most homework happens in the evening when there’s nobody to ask, and one question a student can’t get past can stall them for the whole night.

ChatGPT isn’t built for IGCSE

Plenty of students already use it, but it doesn’t follow the official syllabus or paper formats, has no topical past-paper questions, and can’t mark an answer the way the mark scheme would.

At a glance

Students learn. Teachers teach.
Your school gets results.

For students
  • An AI subject tutor for each of the 8 subjects that’s there at 11pm and only answers within the IGCSE syllabus, so what they learn is what they’ll be examined on.
  • Over 31,990 real past-paper questions sorted by topic and year, so they practise what actually comes up in the exam.
  • Every practice answer checked against the mark scheme, so they see exactly which marks they got, which they missed and why.
See how
For teachers
  • The routine questions get answered at home, which frees up your lessons for new content and the questions that really need a teacher.
  • Notes, flashcards and end-of-topic worksheets for any topic, built from the syllabus and ready in minutes instead of taking up your evenings.
  • Generate flashcards on any topic from the official syllabus and put them up for the class, so everyone discusses before you flip.
See how
For your school
  • Stronger exam preparation across all 8 IGCSE subjects, from one platform instead of a mix of apps and question banks.
  • Built on Microsoft Azure OpenAI, with passwordless sign-in and nothing for your IT team to set up.
  • A team that builds around your teachers, checks in every term on what’s working, and acts on what they tell us.

Everything they need to prepare for the exam, whenever they're working, not just when a teacher is free.

For students

11pm question.
Answered at 11pm.

When a student gets stuck on homework at night, their AI subject tutor is right there to explain it step by step, so the question doesn't have to wait for the next lesson.

Stays on the syllabus

Each AI subject tutor only answers within its IGCSE subject, respects Core and Extended, and turns away anything off-topic.

Built on Microsoft Azure OpenAI

Enterprise AI from Microsoft, with Microsoft’s content safety filtering built in.

Works the way students study

They can type a question or snap a photo of the textbook page or worksheet they’re stuck on.

Chemistry TutorStructure & Bonding
how many covalent bonds does a water molecule have?

Two single bonds: H–O–H.

  • Oxygen shares one electron with each hydrogen: 2 shared pairs in total
  • Each hydrogen shares its one electron back
  • Oxygen ends up with a full outer shell of 8; each hydrogen with a full shell of 2

Oxygen also keeps two lone pairs of its own. It’s those, pushing the bonds apart, that make the molecule bent rather than a straight line.

Real past papers first.
Fresh questions when they run out.

31,990+ real past-paper questions

Every question is the actual page from a real Cambridge paper, sorted by topic and year across six years of papers.

See what comes up most

A frequency indicator shows which questions come up year after year, so students spend their time where the marks are.

Never run out of practice

Once they’ve worked through the topicals, AI quizzes give them brand-new questions written the way the syllabus and past papers ask them, in the same formats and command words.

For students

Know exactly
where the marks go.

When a student answers a practice question, IGCSEMate checks it point by point against the mark scheme and shows them exactly what to fix.

Typed, handwritten or photographed

Students can type, write on screen, or snap a photo of working they did on paper.

A reason for every mark

Each marking point shows as gained or missed, with a short explanation of why.

Checked before anything is marked wrong

Arithmetic is recalculated independently, twice, before a mark is taken away.

comes back until they get it.

Weak topics, found automatically

IGCSEMate spots the syllabus topics a student keeps losing marks on and turns them into a short focus list for today.

Flashcards that adapt

Spaced repetition brings the hard cards back sooner, so revision time goes where it is actually needed.

A habit that sticks

Daily streaks and a 90-day activity view keep students coming back, not just the night before the exam.

Less time on routine questions and prep, more time teaching what your students actually need.

Straight from the syllabus.

Teach from the notes

Generate clear notes on any topic in all 8 subjects, built from the official syllabus. Teach from them on the board, edit any section, then hand them out as a PDF.

Get the whole class talking

Generate flashcards on any topic and put them up for the class. Everyone discusses the answer before you flip, so revision becomes a lively, interactive lesson where every student is thinking, not just the same few hands going up.

Differentiation Basics

Differentiation Basics

  • Derivative: the rate of change of a function. Also the gradient of the curve at a point.
  • Power rule: for y = xⁿ, dy/dx = nxⁿ⁻¹. Applies term by term across a sum.
  • Stationary point: where dy/dx = 0. Use the second derivative's sign to tell a maximum from a minimum.
Common mistake: dropping the constant term instead of differentiating it to 0. A lone number always vanishes.

Accurate to the exam board, not the internet

  • Past-paper questions are the actual exam page, never an AI rewrite of what the question might have said.
  • Each AI subject tutor stays inside the syllabus for its subject and says so when a question falls outside it.
  • Answers use Cambridge command words like state, describe and explain, with the depth each one calls for.

Student data, handled seriously

  • Microsoft Azure OpenAI powers the AI subject tutors, with Microsoft’s content safety filtering.
  • Passwordless sign-in on Microsoft Entra ID, so there are no passwords to leak.
  • Data stored on Microsoft Azure, never sold, and never used for third-party marketing.
  • Students can delete their data at any time, and it’s removed within 30 days. Privacy policy

Our team has run a state government ICT pilot in Perak with SPMMate, our sister platform for the local SPM curriculum, used by 200 teachers and school leaders across 18 schools.

We build with teachers,
not just for them.

We’re opening a small number of founding partnerships this year, with a direct line to our team.

Your teachers shape the roadmap

The teacher dashboard and assigned quizzes are being built now. Founding schools help design them around how they actually teach, and get them first.

We check in every term

We ask your teachers what’s working in class and what isn’t, and we act on it. We’d rather hear the honest version early.

Your school’s own brand

An optional version with your school’s logo and colours, so it feels like your platform to students and parents.

Next step

Better results.
More time to teach.

A 20-minute walkthrough for you and your IGCSE teachers, using your own subjects and topics. Leave your details and we’ll find a time that suits you.
