IGCSEMate is an AI-powered tutoring platform for Cambridge IGCSE students, built and operated by CoreGen AI. By creating an account or using IGCSEMate, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service. IGCSEMate is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE).

• You must be 13 years of age or older to create an account or use IGCSEMate
• You're responsible for keeping your sign-in access to yourself and for anything that happens under your account
• One account is for one person — accounts aren't meant to be shared
• Only one device can be actively signed in at a time, for account security
• You agree to use IGCSEMate for personal, non-commercial study purposes only

Free accounts come with a limited token allowance for AI usage. Paid plans unlock a higher allowance and are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• Token limits reset on your billing cycle (or apply as a one-time balance on the free tier)
• You can cancel a subscription anytime from Settings — it stays active until the end of the current billing period
• Referral rewards and bonus tokens are granted at our discretion to genuine, first-time use and may be revoked if obtained through abuse, fraud, or fake accounts
• Prices and plans may change; you'll be notified before any change affects an active subscription

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass, exploit, or abuse token limits, referral rewards, or account restrictions
• Use the service to cheat during a live, invigilated exam or assessment
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute IGCSEMate's content or AI outputs as your own product
• Upload content you don't have the right to share, or anything illegal, harmful, or abusive
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without refund of any remaining paid period, at our discretion.

IGCSEMate is a study aid, not a substitute for your teachers, textbooks, or official Cambridge syllabus documents. AI-generated explanations, quizzes, and mark schemes are built to closely follow the IGCSE syllabus and exam style, but they can occasionally be incomplete or contain mistakes, like any study tool.

We don't guarantee any particular grade, mark, or exam outcome from using IGCSEMate, and we're not responsible for how you use the material or for exam results. Always cross-check important content against your official syllabus and your teacher's guidance, especially close to exams.

We do our best to keep IGCSEMate up and running, but we don't guarantee the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. The platform may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to issues with the third-party services we rely on (like Azure OpenAI, our hosting, or database providers), or for reasons outside our control. We'll work to restore access as quickly as we can, but we're not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime or temporary interruptions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IGCSEMate and CoreGen AI are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to lost study time, missed deadlines, or exam performance. IGCSEMate is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

IGCSEMate — the name, branding, and platform — is owned by CoreGen AI Sdn Bhd and is a registered copyrighted work under the Copyright Act 1987 (Malaysia). You keep ownership of what you upload or write, and you're free to keep and use anything the AI generates for you (explanations, quizzes, flashcards) for your own personal study.

You can stop using IGCSEMate and request account deletion at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, or if a subscription payment fails and isn't resolved after a reasonable grace period.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date, and significant changes will be communicated by email.
